In October of 2018, BLOOM’s Board of Directors traveled to Morocco to conduct an in-depth needs assessment and secure it’s 2019 projects.

Based on the results of our assessment, 4 projects are planned for the upcoming year.  Each orphanage has a unique set of needs and issues. Each one must to be planned thoughtfully to ensure that our projects serve the needs of each community.

We certainly have our work carved out for us and look forward to sharing our progress!

Dar Al-Atfal Tabriquet Orphanage

Sale, Morocco

Planned Completion: April 2019

Tabriquet Orphanage is situated in the midst of a historic, urban area in Sale, Morocco. The orphanage currently houses 160 children. HRH King Muhammad IV gifted the orphanage with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, it is not being utilized for play. Plans are in the works to convert this space into a Magical PlayGarden by April 2019.
