One of BLOOM’s primary missions is to support Moroccan adoptees and their families in the U.S. As our childrens’ personal identities develop, an understanding of their ethnic heritage helps ground them. This seems to have special importance for adoptees, who may be particularly curious or concerned about their origins.

Our first Annual Reunion Picnic

Cabin John Park |

7400 Tuckerman Lane | Bethesda, MD 20817

Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EDT)

No matter how it fits into family life, learning about heritage plays a crucial role in helping adoptees develop into emotionally healthy adults.

We at BLOOM believe it’s our obligation to expose our adopted children to their native heritage.

Our Annual Picnic is meant to be a way for families to start that conversation in a fun and festive environment.
